Baby Bethie

Beth & her Brother Alfie
We took many family vacations - here I am with my brother at Gingerbread Castle in Sussex County, NJ.
Beth Family in Washington DC
1962 - Trip to Jamestown, Williamsburg and Washington DC. My family has always loved history (and books), and happily Al shares those interests.
Beth & Putzi Beth & Radar
Left: our old family dog Putzi. Right: our famous dog Radar
Beth & Al in Truck at Horseshoeing Contest
1983 - Southern New England Horseshoers Assoc. - horseshoeing contest near Boston
Beth & Al & Jake
All dressed up in costume, for sleigh riding with our horse Jake. The hat belonged to my Great Grandmother Brown.
Beth with Red Hat Ladies in Lawn Chair Brigade
Sept. 2006 - The Ladies at the Lake Lawn Chair Team.
Our Red Hat group is the most fun you can have without getting arrested!
Beth & Al on Boat Winter View from our Deck
One of the reasons we moved to the Ozarks was for the milder weather, yet we still have the change of seasons that are so beautiful. The winters are the best - they are just cold enough.
Left: March 2006 - out on the lake for the first ride in our boat.
Right: Jan 2007 - beautiful mist over the water.

Every day we are excited at all the possibilities and challenges that are out there. Al's great uncle lived to his 107th year, and my grandfather was 105 1/2 when he stopped walking down to the hotel every Wednesday for midday dinner. I figure I'll be bugging Al well into the year 2050!

Some of my favorite links:
Friends of Middletown Thrall Library - for many years I was an officer and used bookstore manager with this wonderful group. The library itself was one of the first in the county to go online, and continues to be a huge resource for genealogy research and for the whole Middletown, NY community.
CROC - Citizens Reunited to Overcome Cancer - the group that is so much more than a social group or a support group. Begun by Tom Eanelli, MD in 1998, I am proud to be a founding member.
